Rx&D is a founding donor of HPIC and remains a significant partner and mobilizing force for our mission. Rx&D represents many of our major donors. Rx&D, Canada’s Research-Based Pharmaceutical Companies, is the national association representing the men and women who work for 50 research-based pharmaceutical companies in Canada.
The Canadian Generic Pharmaceutical Association of Canada (CGPA) has been an important partner in our mission for 10 years and represents some of HPIC’s biggest donors. The CGPA represents the Canadian-based generic pharmaceutical industry: a dynamic group of companies which specialize in the production of high quality, affordable generic drugs, fine chemicals and new chemical entities.
HPIC has had the support of Consumer Health Products Canada and several members from our earliest days. CHPC is the national industry association representing manufacturers, marketers, and distributors of consumer health products (which includes over-the-counter medications and natural health products).
MEDEC, the national association of the Canadian medical technology industry, and several of its members are donors to HPIC. MEDEC is the primary source for advocacy, information and education on the medical technology industry for members, the greater healthcare community, industry partners and the general public.
