AIDS in Africa: Engaging
Canadians Conference Anthology
Canadians and Africans gathered in Gatineau in early
May, 2005, to discuss the tragedy of the AIDS pandemic
in Africa and to explore potentially workable solutions
and possibilities for cooperation.
They spoke about the many facets of the problem, from
medical challenges to prevention, treatment and aftermath
mitigation. Effective grassroots initiatives were presented
and delegates were challenged to take another step
in the fight against AIDS in Africa.
