Board Medical Committee
HPIC has assembled a team of medical professionals with experience working in the developing world to serve on the Board Medical Committee. This committee acts as a consulting body to HPIC. Their responsibilities include developing policies and providing medical expertise to the board and staff of HPIC; advising staff regarding implementation and development of current and new services; acting as a liaison with physicians and dentists; and traveling overseas to evaluate the priority medical and health needs, carry out audits, assist HPIC in determining countries of focus, provide field assistance in capacity building.
