Emergency
Relief
The first medical aid that HPIC delivered in 1990
was in response to a natural disaster. Since then,
HPIC and our partners have responded to dozens of emergencies
in developing countries when man-made or natural disasters strike.
HPIC
stands ready to respond to the next emergency impacting the health of vulnerable communities.
The healthcare industry in Canada has a tradition
of rallying to help HPIC respond quickly
with quality medicines and supplies that meet the needs
on the ground. HPIC works with various partners, including the World Health Organization, IHP-UK, Canadian NGOs and healthcare professionals, to deliver and administer the medicine in the most effective way possible.
