Equipping Medical Missions: Vietnam

In January 2024, a medical mission team from Podiatrists without Borders travelled to Vietnam with several of our medical kits full of essential medicines.

They treated over 1000 individuals, helping to treat patients with a variety of foot and ankle problems.

One of their patients, a 47-year-old man named Mr San, went to the clinic around 10am with heel pain. He could hardly walk without limping. After an evaluation, they gave him orthotics and an anti-inflammatory oral medication and injection. When he went back to the clinic in the afternoon to see them, he jumped around and didn’t stop thanking them for the treatment!

We are grateful for partners like Podiatrists without Borders who are making a tangible difference in the lives of so many. When individuals are healthy, pain-free and able to work, families and communities can thrive.
